Oooh, this looks nice! Now, if only they opt to turn that parking lot into a park, what a view it would have!

I agree that parking lot in front is awful, along with the adjacent car wash place. But both properties combined do have a proposed project for it:

 
What this town needs is a truly authentic Austrian cafe. I'm honestly surprised that in a city of millions that regularly touts its diversity as its big selling point that there has never been anything even close to that. I wish I could just do it myself...

The review is from 2007, but the establishment appears to still be around and still open Wednesday to Saturday only.

I remember Konditor - it was on Queen just west of Woodbine. I checked it out once, and while the offerings were on point, the place itself was still not at all like a true Viennese cafe. It's been gone for many years now though, so that information is severely outdated, unless they moved somewhere else...

Never heard of the Apricot Tree, but taking a look at the menu and photos of the place already tell me it's far off from what I'm envisioning.
