Wing Machine is for sale. This would make for a fantastic cafe location. Especially with Regent Park’s new market value tower at Parliament and Gerrard completing this year.

What this town needs is a truly authentic Austrian cafe. I'm honestly surprised that in a city of millions that regularly touts its diversity as its big selling point that there has never been anything even close to that. I wish I could just do it myself...

I remember Konditor - it was on Queen just west of Woodbine. I checked it out once, and while the offerings were on point, the place itself was still not at all like a true Viennese cafe. It's been gone for many years now though, so that information is severely outdated, unless they moved somewhere else...

Never heard of the Apricot Tree, but taking a look at the menu and photos of the place already tell me it's far off from what I'm envisioning.

FYI Apricot Tree cafe has just changed hands. Nice place, but it definitely isn't truly old school. They did have eiskaffee though.

Oooh, I went there last year. Super cute spot (inside not outside) and super cute cupcakes with elaborate icing flowers on top, but alas mine was a tad bland & oily. What did you think?
