Yeah I can confirm that as someone who's in a suburb beyond the Henday for the time being.
The road sizes are much larger than they should for residential neighbourhoods, and they're extremely car dependent. They are denser than the bungalow era, and probably contribute to bus routes being semi-viable, but it's still remarkably unsafe as a pedestrian or a cyclist oof.
