So I was talking to someone in the know yesterday, it sounds like the hold up is they have been unable to secure air rights from the building next door, as the crane needs to be able to swing slightly over the building.

Apparently the matter is being taken to court.
You might want to dig into this a little bit more. The delays don't have anything to do with securing a crane swing agreement.
 
This won't get built. I've heard contractors have taken WestOak and the president Mathew McLash to collections.

This would have been /(hopefully still will be) a great addition to the University Area. It's great to see more developers like Niche, WestOak, Beljan etc. bring higher quality buildings to the City as oppose to the typical low rises we are use to.
