The old gas station in East Village is now fenced and boarded up.

Thanks for posting all the pics. These ones are a great reminder of how the Stampede shouldn't be involved in designing anything in the city centre. Bland and offensively car-oriented designs in one of the most accessible areas in the city should never be accepted. If you told me that this building was from 1981 I would believe you.

I am happy the CMLC is supposedly getting more involved with them on future projects and Calgary Next. The Stampede needs the help

I don't know the name of this development on Centre St., North, but it is done now, sidewalks are open and even a retail unit open for business.

Thanks Zoomi, the building is called Centre Green. I'll repost the images in the building thread.

Just heard about 2 high rise projects pending proposal in the Beltline. Good news for the city :)

All I know is they have something to do with Stantec :)

Hmm Stantec..... which location?

All I know for sure is it's two projects in the downtown region, likely Beltline, and Stantec is doing work on them.

Snapped some pics of these two projects along Edmonton Trail.

Just noticed two random projects in Mount Pleasant, literally popped out of nowhere, one of them is a 4 unit row house project on a former single lot, and the other is a 3 storey apartment building right on Centre Street between 31 and 32 Avenues I think. Neither of these projects were even underway a month ago now their structures are virtually complete! :p
