Local 522 on 6th ave downtown is all boarded up. Does anyone know if there is any plan for it?
The $30M only funds it to 10th Ave with temporary measures to 12th Ave. I don't like it when they propose these temporary measures, because that gives more reason to delay phase 2.Two grocery stores on the route even! (Save-On and Safeway)
In the BP history... so something is happening. Not sure what. Can you change the exterior of something without a Development Permit?Local 522 on 6th ave downtown is all boarded up. Does anyone know if there is any plan for it?

Might have been geotechnical rig. If I remember I may grab a pic on my way by tomorrow morning.Nothing that I've heard of. A full construction drilling rig?
It still makes me irrationally angry that this street (and now the ever busy 11 street SW I assume) have been and seemingly will continue to be neglected by the city in favour of complete redevelopment of streets like 37th St SW that has been completely redone from Richmond road to 17th Ave and has probably 1/1000 of the pedestrian use of either of those inner city streets.Yeah I didn’t realize that until I looked at the city website later. That is kinda wack. The part of the project where most residents walk daily isn’t even proposed with a detailed design yet.

Soil testing is my guess.
