Les Moulins La Fayette bakery in the corner of Garneau theatre closed and a sign in the window saying Nosh, Indian cuisine coming. Did not last long but always had hand written signs in the windows. Seemed very amateurish

Nosh seems to like locating themselves immediately across the street from Remedy (which doesn't both me since they sell the same chai at a much lower price)
 
I've heard from a few folks in the know that Julio's will be moving into the former M&M space. The two share ownership, who supposedly own the former Malt & Mortar building as well. There are contractors in there now working on the refit. Haven't heard if anything is planned for the Metterra space as of yet.

It will probably be a better space for them but it's also sad; that Julio's location is an icon of Whyte.

I agree. However one other positive thing is that there is a great opportunity for a restaurant or something that goes well with the hotel to come into that space.
