I love the law and order aspects of Singapore. Good for them.

This should be interesting to watch. Norway is ending all COVID restrictions.

And a few months later.... Norway is now seeing record high Covid numbers. 🤦‍♂️

Norway records highest number of daily Covid-19 cases since pandemic began

It's their way of improving their GDP - the government is just spending it all on healthcare, that's all! Given healthcare is largely subsidized by government, and by definition, government spending is GDP, so the MORE covid cases you have, the HIGHER YOUR GDP!

Based on posts I saw, their reasoning seems to be that today was about people who died for our freedoms, but we are dishonouring them by taking away freedoms. Or something.

Federal employees, including military, must be fully vaccinated by end of October

Senior army commander says 90% of military personnel are fully vaccinated

Before World War II, soldiers died more often of disease than of battle injuries. The ratio of disease-to-battle casualties was approximately 5-to-1 in the Spanish-American War and 2-to-1 in the Civil War. Improved sanitation reduced disease casualties in World War I, but it could not protect troops from the 1918 influenza pandemic. During the outbreak, flu accounted for roughly half of US military casualties in Europe.

As the Second World War raged in Europe, the US military recognized that infectious disease was as formidable an enemy as any other they would meet on the battlefield. So they forged a new partnership with industry and academia to develop vaccines for the troops. Vaccines were attractive to the military for the simple reason that they reduced the overall number of sick days for troops more effectively than most therapeutic measures.

Clearly, they are not amenable to reason......

Clearly they aren't the type to sacrifice themselves for anything. Imagine - instead of being told to get vaccinated (partly for their own benefit), they had to be rationed gas, meats, etc., with their mail being censored. Freedum!

Or even, god forbid, actually serving in the armed forces and having to take orders!
