It's interesting because some people want a tram to run down Whyte Ave with overhead wires on catenary poles, much like Valley Line, and seem to be ok with the visual pollution that will create.

Keep the period style but change propulsion to undercarriage + road-embedded LSM (thereby losing the overhead wires).
