Hi, does anyone know why does not 85 st sw connect to bowfort rd by COP? that connection would make for a quick access to the new development of trinity hills on the paskapoo slopes!
Thank you.

I think the hill is just way to steep. The cost to bring it down to an acceptable grade is just too high for a developer to take on, and The City never will do it.

Thank you...I guess we have to wait for the west portion of the ring road for quicker access...currently we drive down old banff coach road sw to bow trail sw then to sarcee trail sw to get to HWY 1/ 16 ave nw

I Saw this Article in the Saturday Herald, (July 7th), I have to Admit I Wonder why it will Take so Long. If its Been on the Books for a While I will have to
Presume the Designs under so called say "Ideal Conditions" would have Been Done by now, Comments?

Tnx,
Operater.

Hi,
I See These Dvlpmts in the North East etc Claiming LRT Coming Soon etc., Plus LRT to the Birdie Port. Really? When I was at the Model Train Show in April 18, I Asked Calgary Transit at Their Booth About These Claims. Right! Try 10 To 15 Yrs Down the Road as Such. Yes the City has the Right of Way Staked Out.City WON'T B Bldg till
there is Enough Dvlpmt North to Justify the Costs Involved. Same Goes for the Deep South;

Tnx,
Operater.

Looks like the city is looking to change the speed limit on residential roads down to 30km/h The idea has been around for a while, but is gaining traction. I don't really have any issue with it...I see too many cars ripping through residential streets these days. Safety first.

30 km/h could be new default speed limit in Calgary

I believe a change had to be made in the municipal charter to make it so that at every intersection they wouldn't need 30 or 40 kph signs, as a particular act assigned 50 kph as the limit on all unsigned streets iirc.
