If that were true Adam Giambrone would be mayor right now, remember that he stepped down after a tryst with a woman who was not his girlfriend... that's right .. his girl friend .... not his wife. (Although Giambrone did step down, get help for his addictions, and married his girlfriend. He will be back in the lime light some time before Ford ever really deals with his addictions.)

Giambrone had addictions? I thought he just had problems with infidelity. It was too bad because even my conservative husband liked him - thought he could really run meetings/get things done - something Ford seems pretty bad at.
Man, we've come so far from a candidate who gave up because of a truly personal problem to not being able to do anything while we watch Ford go thru crack/alcohol/violence/drunk driving/Jimmy Kimmel/crack/rehab scandals.

Drinking at City Hall worries Georgio - NO, not his chum RoFo. (Really!)
"What appeared as a harmless end-of-day gathering for city hall workers to socialize and collect charity donations was slammed by Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti as a waste of taxpayers’ money.
Two city hall staffers organized an event for women who work on the second floor of the building to participate in a clothing swap from 4:30-6 p.m. last Thursday in a meeting room, and also enjoy food and drinks.
The idea was to exchange used clothing, with unclaimed items to be donated to the New Circles Clothing Bank, a charity that collects used clothing, while at the same time enjoying a brief social gathering.
But on Tuesday, Mr. Mammoliti criticized the event as a misuse of public resources.
“They’re all celebrating the fact that they like to swap clothes and look together all on the taxpayer’s dime,” he said.
An invitation circulated among city staff lists the City of Toronto email addresses of Laurie Smith, a constituency assistant for Councillor Mary-Margaret McMahon, and Virginia Gallop Evoy, a staff member at Councillor John Parker’s office.
Drinking wine in city hall in a committee room is contrary to what the committee room is supposed to be used for

Mr. Mammoliti said he became aware of the gathering on Tuesday when his staff member showed him the invitation.
But Ms. Smith said the councillor’s criticism comes as a surprise and that he would have known about the event much earlier.
“It would have been nice for him to bring it to us at that time because we gave him about a month’s notice,” she said, declining to comment further.
The invitation suggested staffers “consider bringing a light dip, or chips, or a bottle of vino, or whatever you would like.”

Mr. Mammoliti said it was inappropriate to encourage drinking at city hall.
“Drinking wine in city hall in a committee room is contrary to what the committee room is supposed to be used for,” he said. “What it really amounts to is the fact that they’re sweeping up the costs of using their room at city hall for political staff to enjoy a glass of wine, maybe two, maybe three, maybe 10, and swap clothes, all on city resources and the taxpayer’s dime.”
Mr. Parker, who was not at the event, said he didn’t know if staff members actually drank wine at the gathering.
“I think something like that was perfectly innocent and is something we should all be pleased about,” he said. “Its whole purpose was to invite staff members on the second floor of city hall to get together for a social moment at the end of the day, bring some of their old clothes, swap them around with the idea that anything left over at the end of the evening would all be bundled up and carried to a clothing reuse service that operates in my ward.”
But Mr. Mammoliti said the workers jumped the gun on having the charity approved.
In 2012, he was questioned by the city’s integrity commissioner about an email he sent to all city staff, using his City of Toronto email address, asking them to sponsor him for a bike ride in support of Autism Ontario.
“The integrity commissioner made it very clear that council had to endorse that charity,” Mr. Mammoliti said.
But he said he doesn’t recall city staff clearing the clothing bank with council before using city resources such as their work email addresses to promote it.
“I don’t get the hypocrisy that’s going on at city hall,” said Mr. Mammoliti.
Mr. Parker said this was a non-issue.
“I really think that if this is the most controversial thing going on at city hall these days, then we’ve made a lot of good progress,” he said."

ETA: I know that we all (including me) forget to do it once in a while, but we all ought to try to look at unread posts before posting. I use the bookmark UT latest, which will take you either to the last post you read or the first post you have not yet read (I forget which). I do not recall who came up with the bookmark and posted it in the first place, but it is a gem and has (almost entirely) saved me from the sin of posting before getting up to date.

As I've said before countless times, Ford will get 10-15 % of the vote and lose by a margin of 2 or 3 to one.
Forum were WAY off with their predictions for the Provincial elections most recently held, their methodology is garbage, landline phones and captured internet addresses.

Regarding Mammo aka "Gino Boy" in Rub's parlance, he's just upping the stupid quotient until the king gets back. Rub is so retarded he'll probably weigh in accusing City Hall of going all Gravy Train/socialist /drunkards. In my opinion he's baiting Ford. Mammo knows what dog whistles to use, Rub will come full of bluster and then Mammo will diss him, it's kind of pathetic how often Rub thinks Mammo's in his camp and then Mammo pokes him like a caged bear at a zoo.
I hope Francis Nunziata aligns with Ford so we can be rid of this Edna Boil lookalike, enabler and sycophant.
