Earlier today, Tim Leiweke, he who is in charge of the Leafs, Raps, Toronto FC etc., was speaking at a board of trade function. Dale was there and was live tweeting. Leiweke was talking about the chances of getting the 2026 world cup in Toronto, said they didn't have the stadiums for it, then made this comment about the Fords:

WTF is her problem? But it gets better as the conversation between Dale and another tweeter goes along:

Looking at the picture that accompanies the story....what is with DoFo and his need to have physical contact with the females that he should by rights have no expectation at all of being welcome in their personal space? Just days earlier he accuses Karen Stinz of theft. There is a pic of him with his arms draped over the shoulders of a CP24 reporter at his food bank photo op, the same reporter he had brushed off abruptly when she had a tough question earlier in the morning The was a picture of him with his arm around Olivia Chow's waist at some function the candidates were at just a few weeks ago. Is it just me(mid 50's male) who finds this to be very creepy at the least and possibly malevolent and intimidating at the worst?

This is an established dinner and they're using Doug, a first time councillor, as the big draw??? Last year they had Fareed Zakaria, this year Doug Ford. Wows.

I was surprised by the number of pro-Ford calls they seemed to put on air. There was the nurse, some hot-tempered guy, the guy who wanted Donovan to list things that Ford had done well, the guy who claimed to be a CBC listener but wondered why misbehaviour like Mayor Fontana's in London didn't get as much coverage as Rob Ford's . . .
