It could just be an ingrown nail. That could probably wait until the election was over.

I can't imagine it's particularly easy for Rob to even reach his toes, let alone attend to their rudimentary maintenance . . . as if he'd even care. Even I, who have full and ready access to all my extremities, am periodically surprised by the wretchedness of my pinky toes.

So, scale that up and maybe you would need to move from pedicure to podiatry.

I am gaining my internet degree in podiatry today. Looks like reasons for operating on baby toe: it's terribly crushed, cut/bleeding/infected to all hell/contains crystals that sometimes form due to long-term gout. None of these treatments would be able to wait months. Add to the toe mystery why Ford would be at TW when he lives in Etobicoke. Maybe he was dumb enough to jam his toe last night/this morning and go wait in emerge - but I'm assuming he has a family doc who would have him go to an x ray locally.

. . . for want of a toe, the election was lost.

But it was more expensive than it would have been due to soil contamination and the fact that it wasn't connected to a sewer line. So DMW comparing it to the average city washroom is disingenuous.

Posting her personal info on an open forum has left me unsettled. I know it doesn't take much sleuthing to find it, but should we be outing people like this? There's the collateral damage aspect to anyone who has been associated in any way with the Ford Fiasco that makes me feel a bit maternal toward the innocent.

Any day the mayor can get the public focused on the cost of a washroom rather than the fact he's a druggie, a drunk, and an overall dink is a darn good day for him. It reminds me a line Thomas Pynchon wrote: "if they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers."

i thought about just having the link, but since i was trying to show the strengthening parry sound connection, and you'd see it once clicking through anyway, i included it.

with the toe story from today, i think it makes this story fair game for the media. i.e. i hope someone starts looking into what happened in parry sound and/or how he hurt his foot.

I remember seeing Kendra's tweet but not the other one posted tonight about the bender in parry sound. They're a couple of days apart as I recall. Wonder if any of the CH reporters have seen both.
