Anyone out there in the twitterverse want to offer odds on @DougFord2014 making a televised statement in time for the 6pm news?

Probably to remind "folks" that JT never served his time in the trenches as a councillor. Or, as Mrs. Chow likes to remind them, JT will have a hard time finding the elevator. ( or something like that ).

What Doug has going for him that JT and OC do not is the fact that every Chairman and Mega-City mayor since 1969 ( with the exception of David Miller ) has been from Etobicoke, North York, York or Scarborough.

And David Miller comes from "my" area which is much closer to Etobicoke than downtown.
