But I don't understand cheering him on for this tactic. Would you applaud Harper ducking debates with Trudeau and Mulcair because they were "tag teaming" him?

I don't follow provincial or federal politics. How many debates do they have during campaigns?

I asked before if anyone knows how many debates JT has done in the last ten months compared to Ms. Chow and RoDoFo?

ETA "Provincial party leaders debated once during the spring election."

So now it appears that DoFo has abandoned today's scheduled camping trip to Malvern to focus on hitting Rexdale. With DiFo and Karla.

ETA: Apparently, it's DiFo and Karla and other Fords in Rexdale, but not Rob or Doug ...

I understood that you supported Tory avoiding the debates because he was getting tag teamed, not because there were too many of them.

Off hand, no. But again, I was responding to your post here:

If I were Nick, I wouldn't let JT get back into the ring solo against that tag-team. Not without Ari for back-up, and a decent referee. And those FN howler monkeys scaring the crap out of people. OMG

Glad that Nick give JT a time-out. He's earned it.

Doug's on the ropes, and Olivia is on the canvass. Let the two of them trade body blows. I doubt they will, most of the rage will likely be directed at MISTER Tory! ( What's your story! LOL )

I don't see anything there about Tory doing too many debates. I'm not sure what you're suggesting now anyway. That Tory didn't pace himself well enough and now he's too tired to debate, 10 days ahead of the election?

ETA: Or are you saying he's "earned it" because he's debated so often? I thought "earned it" referred to the wonderful job he's done in general during this campaign.

I think the Fords need one of these to beef up their minority creds:

Maybe Karla could try her hand at this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj89Ax60DEI&list=PL18D2528E5FF5E0CE <same strong warnings apply>

Are marshmallows even kosher?:p Mercifully, I doubt this concoction would ever see the light of day at Chez KFo due to the zero nutritional value.

Doug has skipped the most debates for sure.

It's usually one, yeah. In most provinces and federally too, that's the norm. Oh snap, there's TWO federally, one en francais, et l'autre c'est en anglais.

This spring, there was also a Northern Ontario debate, held in Thunder Bay, but Hudak declined to attend, citing scheduling conflicts and saying noone had done more for the North than he and the Conservatives anyway, so there.
