Ah. I did not know that! Yes, I guess that would have worked then!It does if you remember that Jan Wong actually spent time in China in her youth and admitted to being indoctrinated to the point of reporting a classmate who had asked her for help in escaping to the West. And she wore a Mao suit during that time.
Surely that caricature of Chow was supposed to look like Honey.I don't think it's an allusion to Layton as Uncle Duke. I doubt Donato reads Doonesbury - he'd probably find it an 'elitist' strip with 'too many words'.

Wait, is Doug Ford telling people on TV that they can vote at any polling station? Because that's 100% not true. #topoli

Just curious:
How many of you never received your voter card? I didn't get mine, though my wife got hers. We've been in the same building for 6 years now, and have voted for numerous elections with our current address (including obviously last municipal election). I've heard mention numerous times on twitter that others haven't received theirs. Something about that seems a little fishy.
We got 2 out 3 cards at my house. My son was missed again, even though he has voted in every election over the last 8 years. Does anyone know where they get the names and addresses from? Is there a federal list, a provincial list and another for municipal?Never got mine. My wife got hers, though. Have been at the same address for 15 years. We're in Ward 20 and I spent a long time in line at City Hall during the advance voting period (had a half-day off, fortunately) to get proof of registration, then headed to the polling station on Cecil as it was on my way home. Voting itself took 2 minutes, no waiting.
