Why I will welcome Rob Ford’s apology to me

Following my complaint to Toronto’s Integrity Commissioner, Valerie Jepson, Toronto’s 64th mayor and (now) City councillor, Rob Ford, is set to offer a “sincere, specific and public apology†today. His apology is based on racial slurs he made in 2012.

Rob Ford attended the funeral of Oakville Ward 6 Councillor Max Khan today. I had seen the Ford twitter account put up a condolence tweet last night. Not sure how Rob knew this guy, as he was apparently a Liberal. Justin Trudeau and Bob Rae also came to the funeral. The article says he was the federal Liberal candidate in the new Oakville-North Burlington riding for the upcoming federal election.
