I thought it was Landi (sp) who blamed the twitterati? Either way she's lashing out at people who have the nerve to suggest her saintly Graeme was nothing but nasty to certain people and nice to others.

Pretty sure it was the woman who replied to Byers in the very beginning. She has since deleted all of her tweets regarding Graeme.

She has, but I haven't.

I think her calling-out of Rae Deeton was entirely inappropriate. In context, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Rae's original criticism of Graeme's post.

Fire Keesmaat? No, Graeme, fire yourself.

You know that Ford-ian line "You can't teach loyalty"? "Loyalty" was all the qualification that Graeme had--or at least, it was all that mattered to the Fords. And even that wasn't enough to keep him in the Ford fold at the end.

'You can't teach loyalty aaand also you are under no obligation to reward it. Anything else?'

Loyalty = paying for it via staff positions using public money (Price et al)

Oh, and the on the spot $5K increase in salary:

Mayor Ford reportedly gave members of his staff $5,000 raises last week in a bid to get them to stick with him. More than half are now working with the deputy mayor, who said those raises will be respected.

This may sound strange, but I bet Graeme's death hit Rob pretty hard. (Even if it's only for selfish reasons.)

If nothing else, Ford might think about how he could have done more for Graeme, although it's hard to tell what would have made a difference.
