If he's even been informed, I doubt very much that Rob's thinking about anyone but himself. He's the diva of victimhood.

And he appeals to people who see themselves as victims because they don't see their own privileged position relative to others and they are quick to adopt a position of helplessness/paranoia.

I am wondering how the people of Ward 2 feel about their elected representative being so absent from council. Yes, they voted him in knowing that he was sick and he generally got nothing accomplished, but there is a lack of representation. How did people represented by Mammo and Moeser feel when they were gone for a year?

Mammo and Moeser's people probably felt the same way Rob's people feel. Maybe Ward 2 has learned to call 311 for those pothole repairs. They should be used to his absences by now.

Actually, Moeser is useless even when his health is okay. You get better service calling 311 than calling Moeser, don't know about Mammo. Moeser doesn't really use technology, something else he has in common with Rob.

"Helpless paranoia" is probably what he feels if/when he's conscious these days, for a whole lot of "reasons" possibly pretty close to home.

Yes, they did elect someone facing a serious cancer diagnosis.

He has Twitter, but rarely uses it.

Ah, loyalty....

And they will prove that by overwhelmingly re-electing them in the next election.

The only reason that either Moeser or Mammo got elected last time was because their opposition fragmented the vote.

Ron Moeser—6416
Jennifer McKelvie—5844
Diana Hall—5530
Amarjeet Chhabra—2852
RichardRoss—1859

Giorgio Mammoliti—6816
Nick Di Nizio—5274
John Chambers—827
Harp Brar—536
Chris Mac Donald—528
Keegan Henry-Mathieu—471
. . .

Considering the benefits of incumbency, these are not impressive results.

As for the people of Ward 2, it's bad enough Robbie's not around to represent them, but I suspect that Dan Jacobs—AKA one third of his staff—is spending an inordinate amount of his time helping Rob with personal stuff rather than taking care of Ward business . . . this based entirely on the fact that it is he who appears to be taking Rob to the hospital these days, all the while trying to make Rob look as if he's as with it as @norm is on Twitter.

Helping Rob with personal things like not taking Warm's calls about his reaction to the budget and Tory not finding more efficiencies?

Interesting that this morning on CBC radio reports about Tory's trip to LA have been including a note that he's away while city workers are in a strike position.
