Maybe they sent a fleet of officers because it gave them a chance to snoop around without warrant.
I like that, actually. Occam's Razor, IMHO. That may be all there is to it. Sometimes you gotta go shopping to know what you want to buy.
Perhaps a Festivus Miracle! I can hardly wait for an "airing of grievances"!
If they can phrase it right so it's not totally embarrassing ('Ford Family Centre for Cancer Treatment') they'll take the money.
Well, it'd take Doug Sr. into account--would he have been treated at Humber?
Unless, of course, Doug Sr.'s cancer was itself a lie. (Now, *there's* a Ford story that's yet to be questioned--if only because practically everything else about the Fords has been.)
^^
From the National post article:
"As a youth, Mr. Ford was
a championship swimmer and in 1954, at the age of 16, attempted the CNE marathon swim across Lake Ontario, alongside Marilyn Bell, who completed the distance.
Mr. Ford died in 2006 at the age of 73."
Forget fact checking; how about plain simple math:
Died 2006 at age 73 which means he was born in 1933 (2006 - 73 = 1933 for any NP journos who may be reading )
1933 + 16 = 1949 ( year of birth plus age equals year in which he was 16 )
Therefore, by process of doing simple math it is established DoFoSr was:
A) not 73 at time of death
B) not 16 at time of Bell swim
C) didn't do it anyway so it doesn't matter
I thought journos were supposed to fact check.

Fact #32: Doug Ford Sr. did not, as his family claims, swim Lake Ontario with Marilyn Bell
Yeah - this was all covered a few thousand pages ago. 100% pure, uncut BS.
