Yea, a temporary path that takes people all the way down into Rainbow Valley and back up. Not a great detour.
Ah, so the same one that's been in place for the last year (wasn't sure if the construction on the WB side would change it). Yeah, will probably continue to avoid that area until the new bridge is complete....

Good plan- rush hour traffic on the bridge is catastrophic

Has anyone heard any rumblings about the tendering of the NEW overpass construction at the Henday? Plans say it "should start construction this year."

According to those plans, it doesn't look like a third lane is being added to WMD Eastbound as it curves below Terwillegar - is that actually the case?

Steel mostly up on Friday and final western piece put up this morning.

If I had to take a stab at being a structural engineer, the existing piers can handle the additional shear forces so the additional pier only has to deal with compressive forces vs. the MUP piers have to deal with compressive and shear forces which was calculated to be greater than compressive forces.

This is the path on the east side of Rainbow Valley bridge. The pedestrian lights were installed a few weeks ago. This looks so awful. Did whoever designed these lights actually walk the route. Would have been so much cheaper and visually better just leaving the street lights alone or adding an attachment on the back side of the streetlights to shine on the path. Now it's a lots of poles doing the same thing as many are directly beside one another.
