It would be just as much at home at Yonge and Sheppard or as an annex to a Chinese mall in Agincourt.

Interesting you brought up the "Chinese mall" thing. Metropolis has a similar setup to the Oriental Centre at Sheppard and Brimley in Agincourt.

Also, the Dragon City mall in Chinatown could lay claim to having the first media tower in Toronto.

The mechanical and HVAC units on top of TLS have been photoshopped out of this photo. If left like that, those units will be seen.

If you ever want evidence of the dichotomy which exists between Render Reality and Real Reality, just refer to the two photos posted above!

That's a pretty unfair comparison at this point. The actually photo is taken on a really grey day with a building that isn't complete.

Has anyone noticed the trivision on the Eaton Centre media tower has fallen apart yet again?

Chunks of the ad are missing, exposing everything behind them and the upper portion is stuck with parts of the ad messed up.

What purpose is served by those lamps on the roof of the Yonge St side? They're not illuminating anything. What a waste of electricity. This whole project is so *BEEP!*

well they aren't in the rendering, so maybe they'll be taken off once the tri-vision goes on. ;)

As a favour... could UT forumers not use the word retarded? I cannot believe the comeback this word has made on-line, but it remains perjorative (the stigma lives on). Let's attempt to be a tad literate.

There's nothing wrong with the way he used the word.

And he's right, the whole project is retarded.
