Yeah, many here not happy wih that, but look at it in the above pics, is there really any architectural value worth keeping

I believe they're building the tower. It was mentioned somewhere in either this thread or the Casa II thread that it's already sold out.

That may not be a particularly noteworthy building but a healthy mix of materials and styles from different decades is always a positive. The real loss will be Sutton Place when it goes through that lousy reclad.
