Underground and the first few levels above ground always take longest to build as they are normally not standard. Once they reach standard floors things usually move quite fast as they can reuse the formwork. Of course the speed will depend on how many workers they have and the size but the CIBC site is quite small and they seem keen to get it finished and bring in rent. I would suspect they will build a standard floor in a week or 10 days but I guess we will see. (Unlike residential construction, there are often quite major late penalties for commercial so ...)Thanks for keeping us abreast of the construction progress. Given the large footprint of the site, how long does it take to complete each level (2-3 months for the underground level and a month for each floor in the main tower) ? Curious to see how the ramp is taking shape to the parking garage on the east side.
