wow they certainly have a VERY long way to go... probably into 2028/9 at this rate.
The video reinforced what I have been saying for years along with the photos I have shot as well a few videos that been posted here or up on my sites..

As it stands today, all trackwork can be completed by Q2/Q3 2026 and that depends on hydro removing poles north of the North Service Rd to Port Credit and what is to happen for the loop with a wye connection needed at Burnhamorpe and how much more trackwork has to be rebuilt..There are still 19 intersections that needs the guideway across them with 11 that will be two phase construction.

Testing and training drivers of the new fleet should start by the end of Q2 to Eglinton considering it was to have started February 2023 to Matheson. In March of 2025 it was supposed to happen in August or after Topflight intersection was rebuilt to Eglinton and that date has been miss by almost 2.5 months as well before it was decided to tear up tracks with gauge problems.

Most of 2027 would be finishing area like sidewalks, roads and etc as well testing of the whole line depending on the loop that it is possible Q4 to Q2 2028 witl see service. Hydro is not supposed to complete all their work until 2027 that will effect start of service as well.

At the end of the day, a lot of things can change from what I have stated like some of the timeframe on various things in the past caused by unknown, weather, manpower, changes or string things out along with surprises. Then there are the two extension with the loop being the main problem.

Going into Bramption so call downtown based on what the city wants to do now for the current area will be mid 2030-40 at this point. As for the loop, a six month EA review is needed and about two years of construction once the word GO is used that could push the opening back to 2029-30 unless the line will open in two phases. Even then, test of the two section will have an impact on the quality of service for the mainline. More important will be the spliting of the line in two with a possible bypass service. Lots of unknowns,

As evidenced by the LRTs in Toronto, it takes at least 2 years (maybe even 4) after all tracks are in place for the project to actually open to the public. Considering Hurontario's tracks are not even fully laid, and don't look to be be fully done until EOY 2026 or sometime in 2027, we actually might be looking at 2028-2029... We are talking about a proportionally worse delayed project than Line 5 Eglinton.

Great video but clearly this project is a MESS! The amount of track being torn up and relaid seems excessive - another Eglinton!
Exactly what I said.

There are companies that were bidding on projects and writing cheques their work couldn't cash.

It's time.

On top of this notice, it looks like the work on Topflight is going to continue until Mid-December with a partial intersection reopening. Vehicles will be able to go Eastbound onto Topflight from Hurontario northbound, but will not be able to go Southbound on Hurontario from Topflight, or make a left turn from Hurontario to go eastbound onto Topflight.. The updated notice states that the work will be 24/7, so it seems that this intersection is a priority for them.

On Friday and Monday they were paving the east sidewalk for this area as well pouring the curbs for the southbound both ramps for the 407.

From Ray Lawson to south of Steeles have various sections of the northbound new lanes have been cut out for repaving that was all ready repaved with some excavation taking place. Work taking place at Steeles for the new northbound turning lanes.

407 bridge still close.

With the reponing of Topflight intersection and traffic shifted back to normal lanes allow for the digging of the guideway up to where traffic is shifted to the southbound lane. Once the 407 bridge opens, rest of the guideway will see construction in two phases to allow eastbound traffic off the 407 to go north. Same thing will happen for the westbound off ramp,

The OMSF guideway looks complete with curbs poured for it up to where trackwork still has to be dome up to Topflight. Topflight tracks are being saw cut.

So, nobody thought about building the base for a widened CPKC bridge before the LRT starts running ?

It's going to be that much more difficult to erect a new central pier with the trams going by.

One can say why wasn't the 3rd track bridge for Hurontario built back around 2010(?) when the Cawthra Rd 4th track bidge was bult on the north side of the existing 3 track bridge?

Going to be a real issue down the road fot the 3rd & 4th track bridges now.

There are a number of issues related to the Hurontario bridge that is over 110 years old from not only been replace by ML/CPKC like ML has done in varios place as well the pier supports on both sides of Hurontario. We have no idea at this time if the stair and walkway to the GO platform will exist once the 3rd track bridge is built as they will have to be move south to get the 3rd track in to match the platform for the current layout. At the same time that it may become a walkway bridge that the city wanted to built a decade or so ago and was kill by the LRT. Then there was talk that the the walkway bridge would have access to the LRT station.

It is very possible the new bridge(s) will be a clear span with no cebtre support.

Things are now changing weekly, daily and hourly in the corridor,

Both Fairview and King mobil signs when up Sat as they were not there Friday as well working Sunday morning but trun off Sunday night. Fairview signs turn off Tuesday night and no idea about King.

Fairview intersection close Nov 21-23
King St intersection close Nov 17-Dec 18
Dundas will be done in January -March as a two phase project

Skyway intersection could be open by the end of next week ahead of scheduel. Most of the northbound track was poured with a small section to be poured the next day. On Nov 20 concrete was being poured for the southbound track. Once all concrete is pour a top coat of concrete will be pour between the tracks as that area has been mill. Don't recall if Courtneypark intersection saw the centre area mill or poured concrete.
