I believe the notion and squires road connection has to be built before before some other developments can go forward at Durham Live. So it will likely happen in the near future. It’s impossible at Valley farm road since there is a building proposal at that site. I believe they are planning to build another pedestrian bridge to connect universal city with the North side of Downtown Pickering. The mayor mentioned that in his plan.

Some coverage we took at the press release yesterday. We were informed that this project will move quickly, with phase 1 of construction expected to start next year.

1000% they did. You should see the Pickering Facebook groups lol. They go absolutely insane over everything, even if it’s someone building an addition to their home…Didn't the NIMBYs say that "nobody wants this!"
