The columns behind the arches really bother me. I’m curious to see how they finish off the ground level.

That whole "Angled wall" freaks me out. It is amazing, but still freaks me out.

True dat. But then again, most buildings in most cities are so-called "filler buildings."

Were it not primarily for that angular sculpting at the bottom, this would be yet another high rise condo.

Issue was in the execution IMO- above average but no cigar.

It had the markings of being landmark building, and is still one from certain vantage points- I can still see people telling others to meet them under the 'big brown slanted building'.

Looking more at it, I feel like the back should have had the vertical stripes of brick as well.

Yes, on the South elevation they should have used brick instead of the spandrel. It looks terrible and half-assed. A lot of value engineering here.
