excellent pics, Matrix!

1. St. Andrew's Church frames the Ritz perfectly from the northeast corner of King and University. I'm sure this will become a popular photo location once it is all done.

I am right there with your assessment, Matrix. Love the reflected light on Saint Andrew's north facade in particular here.

wow!... thanks for all your contributions!

Ritz getting close to RBC from this angle!

The MET condos lighting matches the ones of RBC!... cool!

Thanks for the night shot "Mike in TO", the RBC Centre is looking great at night. Wondering if Ritz-Carlton would do the same.

October 14 2009 update

South Side - Ritz is looking handsome :D

Panels on the South Podium Wall are in fact not Spandrel Glass
There actually are textured panels behind the clear glass

Walkway between Ritz & RBC Centre almost ready

North Side

Stone lion statues outside the Royal York Hotel that reminded me of the Ritz Carlton
Ironically they were installed to commemorate Royal York Hotel's 80th anniversary on June 11, 2009  (wrong statue choice perhaps?)

I wonder if they'll bother installing hoarding on the Ritz side of the walkway so that they can open the RBC side, of if they'll just leave the whole thing blocked off until the Ritz is finished
