St. Lawrence North from above.
I get it though. Those top floors would be greenhouses and they'd probably have to bust the Leed rating down to "Rusty Tin".Not going with a glass roof was a huge oversight. Otherwise, this is turning out great.
If I remember correctly, it's also a green roof, so that comes with additional insulation properties.I'm curious how the math works out between the amount of shading vs skylight/glass they put on, to achieve good energy balance. Is there a report/study of this somewhere?

The top floor will be courtrooms - I am not sure if having full skylights would be a great idea.

It has been said that justice should be more transparent...The top floor will be courtrooms - I am not sure if having full skylights would be a great idea.

If you look at these 2 pics, it looks as though they are putting a wooden 'barrier' or form along the metal roofing on the western 'wing'. I assume to pour the concrete (?) roof on top of the 'corrugated iron'.
Well spotted, but do you mean the eastern 'wing'? No doubt they'll do the same with the western. If you look at these 2 pics, it looks as though they are putting a wooden 'barrier' or form along the metal roofing on the western 'wing'. No Western, see below.Well spotted, but do you mean the eastern 'wing'? No doubt they'll do the same with the western.
That's eastern, the one closer to Jarvis. Western is the one closer to Metro.
