That would be my guess. Replace the parking lot with a single-storey retail plaza. Might generate some pretty decent rent. Keep it that way until the office market catches up and then construct what is meant to be there- a super-tall Class-A office building. Might take 10+ years though. Talon will be out of the country by then I'm sure and DT will probably have filed for bankruptcy again multiple times.

Your references to the $300,000,000 in sales are very amusing. I assume you have seen the construction budget and are 100% confident that the project is going to be profitable. Much like Mr. Stinson's bankrupt towers were I'm sure.

I think the land on all sides is Scotiaplaza. Do you think they would allow any of this land to be sold to a developer to block the views from the offices?

I doubt it.

And the buildings to the south may have some historic significance as well. So good luck getting a permit to demolish and redevelop there.
 
Land on the east is Scotiatower. No growth there. Land on the south is the National Club. Should be Heritage Designated. No growth there either.

Donald Trump has never filed for bankruptcy. His casino operations did once, if I recall correctly, but he never has. Perhaps you should brush up on your footnote fact checking?
