Has anyone seen renders or site plans for either or both of the park-to-be or redesigned Gardiner off-ramp? I believe some combo of that was part of the s. 37/development concessions...

And don't forget Bay Park Centre will add some effect on the square and act as an eastern closure. Though it just won't be in sight the closer you are to the ACC.

I believe the city has the plans for the new off ramp on their website. Haven't seen anything about the new park.
The new park is where the York off Ramp is to York is. That still at least 5 years down the road yet, if not more.

This project is another example of changing a square building into something different using the balcony to do it. Five was the first real one to do it with it and this being in my top 25 list of building across the GTA. Most likely be in the top 10 after ICE.

I agree, they do. But the north and south faces I think are still pretty sharp--the glass is really high quality.

The south face is a perfect mirror during the day - I live on Queen's Quay directly south and I now get significant reflected sunlight during the day. As well, a view of the harbour reflecting from the giant mirror. I certainly hope the glass is high quality; on a windy day the entire wall "ripples" creating some neat effects.

I think we'd love to see photos of your view. Next time you're home on a blue-sky day… !
