Caught these units on point of a northbound MacTier train with 175 cars on it and a slave unit about 86 cars in at Weston Station. Been a long time since I seen a train this long. About 300 trucks not on the road with this train.

Random, super specific question. Presently, in this area of the belt line there is a large concrete block with four sections of rebar coming out of it. I just noticed that this concrete block can be seen just at the bottom of this picture. I figured that block might have been for a signal or something but it looks like back in the day when the belt line was still a railway, the concrete block is just sitting there like it is today. So what was that used for?
