Cooler than expected, but still a fun time to be out on a patio in -8C with people driving by wondering what the heck is going on.

They've been open for a while now. Had a soft opening and the parking lot was packed. Smart move, Big empty warehouse, Little infrastructure t build out for everything. Only couple of months from the time I saw the announcement in the Gazette to the opening. Also very well located just off the Henday and Ray Gibbons and 137 ave. Close to a large population base that has no amenities (Trumpeter, Starling and Hawksridge). Along with the St Albert Population that requires more space.Gosh this city is full of little surprises! Who knew this even existed?

I wonder about that too. There was a nice plan to redevelop this space put forth a year or so ago that seems to not be happening yet, but maybe the owners are hoping to go ahead with it soon. Why a pickleball facility hasn't opened in the old Bay space at ECC is beyond me.
