Another pour happening today: the west end of the sixth floor slab is being presently being poured.

Yesterday it looked like Lewis Build was about ready to pour the slab for the ramp to the 6th floor - it's too foggy to see today what's going on. :( I have just been advised of a rescheduling of the road closure, as follows: Date: Wednesday May 27, 2009 Subject: Bay St. Closure between...

I have been informed as follows - someone may want to swing by to see what they're up to during that time: Date: Tuesday May 26, 2009 Subject: Bay St. Closure between King St. and Adelaide St. Saturday May 30th, 2009 at 6:00am until 3:00pm The Contractor for Trump Tower has informed us...

. . . and no matter what, it's far, far better than what it replaced. A one story low rent operation being replaced by two towers and with high podium on a prime downtown corner. Pretty good, in my books.

Great shots - I love the one into the elevator lobby!

I am counting the ground floor as the first floor. I don't count the ceiling above the slab, just the slab, in my count for progress. This picture drum118 just posted shows what I mean. The slab has been poured for all of the fifth floor, but not the ramp to the sixth (ramp not seen in this...

Looks like they may hold true to the render diagram for tree placement as the actual placement of the soil in the square appears to be exactly where the trees are to be located as set out in the render. The render doesn't show the square as being sunken (other than the stairs at the north end)...

Yes, the Peri RCS panels are only up on the Bay Street side so far. The east side of the fifth floor slab was poured over the weekend. Conduit cabling and rebar are being installed on top of the form for the ramp to the sixth floor and the forms for the west side slab of the sixth floor are...

It's actually blue tarpaulins. They laid blue insulation on top of black waterproofing on the concrete, laid more black tarpaper and tar on top of that and have recently been laying a dark coloured aggregate and soil in some areas over that. The blue tarpaulins have been covereing the soil and...

Yes, the forms are now up on the west side for the fifth floor's columns. Forms are also in place for the slab on the east side of the fifth floor and half of the ramp to the sixth.

I concur. I also get a front row seat! BAC1 and now TTT . . . If BAC2 and 3 happen, although not tall like the other towers mentioned, I'll be in heaven!

West side of the fifth floor was poured last night. Forms are up for the east side (no conduit, cables or rebar down yet) but not for the ramp to the sixth.

Hmm. Well, it seems that BAC has installed new poles along Adelaide. It would have been nice to see matching ones installed along Bay.

It is a bit "slanty" there. The sidewalk dips to be flush with the street at the corner and the sidewalk is generally raised to the east sloping to the west for drainage. Once over the property line, the drainage goes the other way back toward the building. The poles are really quite ugly...

You and I must go to the same Walmart as I was told the same thing! Kinda ironic, don'tcha think, given that this was the site of the Woolworth's building until it was knocked down in the late 90s and Walmart purchased most Canadian Woolworth and Woolco stores in 1994 as part of its entry into...

This morning I contacted by email the planner at the City responsible for the application and I have just received this response: "The signs on the site are for the current application for a plan of subdivision for the Bay-Adelaide Centre lands. The owners have applied for a plan of...
