Personally I like it only for that support part looking like it’s holding u the whole thing. That is an interesting feature. But that’s it.

He’s right though. And his comment wasn’t ranting. But a legit point. The glass box comment for sure is one that will keep coming up. There’s a reason people are bored with that shape.

Just a question but with a lot of these projects why do the images at the top of the project pages not match what is being built. Or rather why are these images not up to date or even get replaced with the accurate pictures. So we can use them as a reference as to what being built rather then...

Well done. It’s now the cladding I’m worried about. Other wise so far so good. Grade level not as impressive. Maybe if they could put that (wavy glass overhang) idea back into the design.

This design took a bit but it’s growing on me now. At least they kept the basic form of it. Still a “building block” look.the silver is nice. If they make it that metallic. The only thing I’m a bit sad we’re not getting is that cool rippled effect on the building. But as is they will add a lot...

Are shadows really an issue now a days when we all live indoors? I feel like we are going to be used to the dark places by the time any of said proposals are built. Times have changed thanks to COVID. Or no thanks to. Just saw that I was replying to the wrong page... but I still ask the same...

Hyatt building I’ve always loved its shape and size... now looking dwarfed, I Had always hoped they’d recladd it in the black that’s at ground level. Windows are fine to match the area.sorry off topic. But it was brought up. As for the view there, I don’t think it will block out much. He’d be...

Not rocket science guys the third or taller section is 10 floors above the middle section they look to only have 3 more floors and a roof. Simple, count the floors in renderings guys. Top down see where they are at...

It came across as it would be nice to have a black tower break up the trend in glass for the area. But yes, it will probably end up blending in with the rest of the lovely repetitive patterns and glass so is not to pick it out on the skyline like it’s neighbouring buildings.

If that were the case would they not use their wording to say “the conversion of... or In place of” ?
