    Toronto Toronto | Q Tower | 197.4m | 59s | Lifetime | Wallman Architects

Lets remember that the developer wanted to build 2 towers with 1,482 homes and 110 affordable rental which the city rejected because of shadows. the 1 tower proposal (before the latest revision) dropped the unit count to 997 and 79 affordable rentals. It wasn't the federal government or the...

for Eglinton Connects they have to wait until the crosstown project is completed and street handed back to the city before it can begin construction

Commercial building always go up fast. you can thank not needing so many internal walls, washroom and plumbing. Plus the faster they go, the sooner they start making rent money

As long as one side of the street is train tracks in a trench there is nothing that can be done to make it look more appealing. Only until they deck the train tracks with a park and condos will front street feel more urban and less like a wasteland

None of that is relevant since it's stations undergrounds which is what takes the most amount of time, none of the REM or Valley which opened had to build underground stations.

I really don't get the logic you are saying here and which many in the public stick to. is the 57% of investors stopping non-investors from buying homes in Toronto??? don't we have way more units for sales than actual buyers?? isn't there always more units for sale than buyers?? would removing...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

it's looking more and more likely to me that both Finch LRT and the Crosstown will open around the same time of late - summer or fall 2024, would be nice if they opened on the same day. The western part of the city will see a dramatic improvement in transit on that day

Did you think the busiest bus route in Toronto was surrounded by farmland??

    Toronto Toronto | 666 Spadina Avenue | 41m | 11s | Cromwell | Arcadis

The problem is that people say this for every site. it doesn't matter if it's on top of a transit station or in the middle of suburbian there is always a fight to remove height and density.

So it's been a year since the last post, any update on this project? We need to finally get rid of these parking lots that sap the life from Front Street & Blue Jay way.

Ontario building standard mean you can only have glass upto 40% of residential buildings. The fewer windows you have on a building the more energy efficient it is.
