What happened to the CN Tower? Was David Copperfield visiting that day?

Lovely shot all the same, and the city looks great.

Right It's looks good... But What's European there ?!

the other guys have it right - low rise density, lots of brick, buildings taking up full blocks with courtyards on the interior, etc. admittedly its a poor imitation, but its as close as we get.

There's also a large cathedral spire noticeable on the skyline, which is reminiscent of European cities, and a lower spire which is also noticeable. The former is of the Cathedral Church of St. James as it's officially called, and it stands at 92.9 metres, while the latter is of the historic St. Lawrence Hall.

Looks like the core forms moved up again this morning. According to my count, we should be seeing the final core narrowing at the next form raising, in 4-5 days.

And then it's another 14 stories to be built with the final core size, plus the roof.
