Thank you for taking the time to reply, the architecture then was magnificent , i assume that a lot of these old gems have fallen to urban development if so then a lot of history has been lost.
We use locations as touchstones for our memory's , i was dismayed when i re-visted a spot where i met my first girlfriend in the early seventies i was hoping to look and touch the tree that we carved our initials and our'' undying love in'' i was met with no tree and a mcdonalds on the site.
My maudlin feelings soon passed , that is one reason why heritage buildings '' and trees''must be preserved.

Royal Flying Corp Cadets - Toronto - 1917
Can anyone identify the location?
It appears to be somewhere within the U of T.
A current photo of the site would be great for a "Then & Now."

It's all about the crossed legs.

Tying a number of recent themes together:

A perfect example of Toronto at that time. Both photos show not a single colour other than white.

Only three of them are clean-shaven!

Where was the Prince George?

SE corner of King & York, originally built as Rossin House (from whose roof the famous Panorama of 1856 was taken).

"Riverdale Park tram 1936 - Collections Canada"

Doubtful.
(Too early.)

Prof Goldie.

Even with having reversed the image, not unknown with archival pics, I cannot believe
this to be Sunnyside; the land elevation being too high; could however, be farther to the east, present view;
note the break wall? and the large building in the distance.
