Maybe the XYZ building in East Village? The residential market is in horrible shape, especially for inner city condos. I'd be surprised if even Arris goes ahead anytime soon.

I agree. It's not a good time for projects to get off the ground. Most plans will stay plans. There will always be some that do break ground and that is where a slow development cycle can be even more thrilling than one where everything gets built.

There was supposed to be some sort of project on the northwest corner of Olympic Plaza that was highly regarded, I wonder if that's what it is?

I don't know if this is reference to the previous tip on West Campus lands but ... Norr Architects submitted a DP application last week for the University District. One building for 288 residential units, child care service, convenience store etc.

The Winston Heights proposal is another joint venture between Calgary Co-op and Quarry Bay Investments. There are a total of (5) mixed use projects planned. Four are on existing Co-op property ... Winston Heights and also Brentwood, Oakridge and Dalhousie. They are in the community engagement process on all of these.
The 5th project which I am told is much further along is on Macleod Trail where a car dealership used to be.

There's also this other one kitty corner from the 16th ave CO-OP. A 37 unit proposal.
