Believe it or not, that house has been in this state for 10+ years. According to the neighbourhood grapevine, the work was originally done without permits and the city had to step in, though it doesn't look like they've had much success getting it fixed. I can't imagine that the building code allows OSB siding.

May finally be some regulated movement here to finish this properly:

I have reviewed this application in the past. It is certainly an interesting development, and I'd be curious how the units look once they are built. The frontage on this and the neighboring lot is ~12ft only. Waiting to see how these look once built.

To convert the existing two-storey, two-unit, semi-detached dwelling into a three-storey fourplex by constructing a rear second storey addition above the existing rear one-storey brick addition, a complete third storey addition, a front basement walkout, a front second storey balcony, a rear third storey balcony, and new rear outdoor stairs accessing the third storey.

Studio A/C just got approval for a nifty multiplex on Dovercourt to be built by ROC Developments (299 Ossington.) unfortunately they don’t say where and I am very curious as there is a commercial component. And as we all know Dovercourt is a special street that is evolving more rapidly than surrounding ones. I looked on CofA but nothing.

Only needs to go to COA if it needs a minor zoning variance, and with multiplexes now available as of right across the City, we are going to see more and more of them that do not need to pass through COA.

That should be 155 Dovercourt Rd. Currently this:

Yeah the StudioJCI one is 155 Dovercourt. It did go through committee last year. Retail on ground floor and 4 resi units.

And the 798 Dovercourt doesn't have a laneway, so I am guessing its a garden suite. Equally cool.
