Jasmine youre like the person who says Im not racist since I have a friend who isnt white, or im not homophobic because i have a friend thats gay... Yet what makes you worse is that you use your own culture (indian) and the fact you are bicurious to hide the fact that you may have your own prejudices. Im not buying the BS youre selling

No you are frankly a person who sees the world as black and white with nothing in between.

Either you are the side of good and agree with my viewpoint of the world or you are evil and racist or homophobic and etc as you don't.

MTown I sincerely believe you will criticize each party fairly. There is PCness which i think is over the top "peoplekind" "holiday tree" that sort of thing. However when ever the news is played they describe the person and they show a picture. They have made Africentric schools (http://schoolweb.tdsb.on.ca/africentricschool/) to try to combat the problem. These are things clearly trying to solve a problem and at the same time admitting their target demographic which some may say isn't PC. I think you and I both know that these issues aren't fixable over night. Anyways the frustration on Jasmine stems from her supporting Ford and his ways as both Mayor and now as Premier yet at the same time relentlessly attacking the Liberal Party. If you tell me on one hand you like Rob and Doug who use racist and sexist words all the time and then tell me you hate how everything is PC, I am not going to think you have noble motivations but rather that you wish you could get away with the nonsense they say. Maybe that is a simplistic view but its my take on it.
 
So tomorrow morning the latest ruling comes down at 10 am, right? I am so out of touch right now. This is the appeal to the first judge who said 47 wards, I think. So what happens tomorrow?

Maybe Wiki (and my memory) are wrong, but I thought McArthur was arrested early this year, and the murders were in previous years. I believe they would revise the old statistics from previous years, and not count the murder against this year.

She has clearly stated that she does not in fact support the Ford monstrosity. A lot of people have read things in what she has said that simply weren't there. Even after she clarified her belief and it was the opposite of what was attributed to her. That's massively unreasonable behaviour.

Once again just because I am not to the left does not mean I am apart of Ford Nation. That is your personal viewpoint of you are either to the left or you are a racist right winger.

Who says I really support The Fords? I would have preferred Elliot as there would be a conservative govt without the stupidity attached to it. Trust me that would be far better to me and I think to all of you.

I may support some of Fords ideas in principle such as getting rid of the Carbon Tax as it was not revenue neutral and it was regressive but you really think I am in favour of using the notwithstanding clause over a personal vendetta and its okay to smoke crack while being the Mayor of Toronto?

Firstly I supported Tory over Ford in the 2014 election.
You would be also surprised to learn that I did support many of the Ontario Liberal ideas such as shutting down coal plants, giving free post-secondary classing to the poor and other things but I felt that Wynne was going too far to the left for my personal liking and it was time for a change. The NDP was pretty much even further to the left of the liberals.

Good call. That seems legit.

However, between the van attack and the Danforth shooting, we still have 12 people dead from what I can clearly tell you are inadequate mental health supports. Indirectly, sure, but still as a result of our mental health supports being massively inadequate.

There are probably more.

What's the percentage of murders this year that are a cause of two massive societal failings?
Those being poor mental healthcare and the war on drugs.

What, 80%? 90%?

But no, go on....."drugs" are bad and mental people have it in their heads.

As a society we've somehow decided that we'd rather have people shooting up playgrounds than allowing people to safely purchase, cultivate, and use fuuuuuuggin plants.

Then we complain about them "rats". We're all rats that support the failure and danger that is this particular moral panic based in ignorance.

That's right: our high murder and gunshot rates are a direct consequence of the war on drugs.
The balls it takes to illegalise plants and then complain about people trying to make money on investments that make your shitty stock portfolio's returns look like you're pissing money away at a pub.
