It's not material to the fact he is an A-one nutjob and a poor campaign manager but Doug is starting to look a little portly there, man. I suspect that if he and Rob re-started the weigh-in the gap between them would be far less substantial that it once was.

Just a reminder to everyone that Kimmel tapes his show at 4:30pm PST/7:30pm EST. If there is an epic meltdown (vs the expected epic letdown), it should be public ahead of the 11:30pm broadcast. If the mayor's office tweets anything after the taping we'll probably be able to read between the lines on what actually happened.

Hopefully he will ask some suitably uncomfortable questions like "what does crack taste like", but my money's on a merry-fool taped bit plus a tightly-scripted and short interview. Leaning 2:1 against bringing Doug on stage - will make for a (relatively) more lucid conversation, but nobody paid to see the Elephant Man's brother.
 
Oh, it's television, Kimmel's people aren't going to let anything too crazy happen or go to air. I don't think we should expect a meltdown. I think we should expect a nice injection of schadenfreude watching Ford look like a complete idiot on broadcast television - again.
 
Also am I the only one that thinks it's funny the only text visible in that Ford bros pic is "we work"?

Now, whether they partner with BBM to get those numbers, I don't know. I have to say, I am unfortunately unfamiliar with how it works in Canada, but I know it's a similar system - i.e. your set top box is not broadcasting your viewing habits to the provider unless you are part of this system (not to mention that would discount the sizeable viewership of OTA broadcasts)
