I guess I've been living under a rock, but the comments section for that article was the first I'd heard about the Laureen Harper thing.

I first heard that about 4 years ago from multiple people. Apparently, everyone in Ottawa knows. But I guess they are too scared of Harper to mention it.

In the sleeve/snot shot Ford is sitting next to the guy who is one row down and to his left (the guy with chin in hand) and Jerry is not beside Ford.

To me, that is something RoFo has done that is not that big of a deal.
As long as RF is respectful and pays his way, it's not illegal, right? The women are consenting adults. They shouldn't be shamed.
It is not like consorting with gun traffickers, and then publicly saying he is tough on crime after an event where little kids were shot.

I survived a bit longer -- it was news to me, but the rumour is that she moved out of 24 Sussex to move in with a female Mountie at the Chateau Laurier. That was from a couple of years ago, though; I couldn't find anything more recent, but I didn't look all that hard either . Given the subject (drunk teenager) I thought it might be about a drinking problem.

If Ford is indulging in such extracurricular activities without permission from his wife, whether still or again, then it's yet another strike against his 'all about his family' image that he claims.
