Doug Ford jar in the campaign office

What exactly is that jar for? Tip jar, swear jar, spittoon, santaria candle? Is it strong enough to contain Doug?

I've thought that from a few days after the switcheroo, when he kept putting off beginning to campaign. I quite possibly might be the most naive person in the thread, but I think he really is doing it for Rob, and he himself has little interest in municipal politics. I suppose we'll see in the coming days if he begins to campaign more aggressively.

I don't think Doug really wants to do this, either. My guess is that he's got a realistic view of his chances and probably sees it as an expense to be endured to keep the family's political franchise going, (though I really can't understand why the Ford Bros so deeply believe they have something they must offer).

As for the start of his campaign, I don't think a delay is out of line. There's administrative and scheduling work to do, for instance, and it's not unreasonable to say Doug needs a bit time to process the whole situation. Next week will tell story, IMO.
