Another thing: Doug was Rob's campaign/camping manager; but now that it's Doug running for Mayor, who's *his* manager? Notwithstanding whatever Silversteinian assistance, it's almost like one of those eye-rolling "defending-oneself-in-court" circumstances...

Farewell, Rob Ford (NY Times)

"Then came 2010 and the election of Rob Ford as mayor. He spent the next four years trying his best to turn Toronto the Good into something like Deadwood, run by the Snopeses.

"Ford was 300 pounds of redneck belligerence with the face of a malevolent baby, playing to his sour constituency of have-nots by sticking it to the Toronto establishment (just about anybody who could spell), without noticeably achieving anything else."

We ended up hitting Sugar Beach. I had grander plans but traffic was so horrible the girls were in a bad mood when we finally made it downtown.

In a non-partisan party election the first thing I want is to get is endorsements from partisan parties in different levels of government. Something like this shows how good I would be as mayor of a municipal government even though I have no experience of holding office in the municipality, or any experience of running a government.

It just surprised me that they gave Tory so much airtime.

To the point where he's practically coasting...or deliberately self-sabotaging? Just shrugging and letting the "camping" goofs strangle everything like kudzu? (And even Rob's Ward 2 bid as collateral victim?)
I suspect Doug Ford's worst nightmare is that he actually DOES win.

I'm in the middle of ward 3 and got my Ford for Mayor flyer in my mailbox today, complete with Doug's horrifying visage. I promptly tore it up.

Any chance doug will hit up Roncesvalles? I have a few questions about his platform I'm interested in discussing.

Right, so in between chemo and puking, Rob is telling Doug what to do on the camping.

I want to freak my mom out by putting that photo of Doug on her laptop as her wallpaper. She is used to seeing a cute kitty. *Evil daughter*.

Great to see Jeff Adams (paralympian) and Adam van Koeverden both helping Andray out!
