It was not the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was not the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was not the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was not the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was not the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us (which vanished), we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven at the start, we were all going direct the other way at the end...
with apologies to Charles Dickens.

I'd be a hypocrite to root for someone to go down on weed charges. I don't smoke anymore but used to, my wife too and lots of my friends still do. Coke, crack and stuff that ruins people is another story.

Agreed. I'm in favour of decriminalizing weed, partly so the courts and cops don't spend so much time on small-time scumbags like Lisi. He should go down for the extortion charge.

Legalize it, and mushrooms too. I went to Amsterdam. You can select from a long menu of shroom brands!

I see that Doug was on CP2Ford and said nothing of interest,

Also, I think that pot should be legal as well. Every party but the one in power is in favor of that.

How can the crown be that inept (not that I am a believer of actual - vs. planned - incompetence at that level anyways)

I say you're onto something there. If you rolled on a ford wouldn't you want some little semblance of a trial just for appearances? (I can hear the pitch in my head) we will charge you then we will let you off on a technicality. The fords and your other customers will never suspect. Tin foil time? Maybe.

Yep, Dougie was giving his OPINION on the Crean report. The first live Dougie went on about how much money they saved the taxpayers and that the report is all political... and about the fundraiser in the last seconds. The second live was a short version of the first with a call for more security and that protesters should be banned outside of the mayor's office but allowed anywhere else.

What I did like was Dougie split screened opposite Robbie raging in council and being escorted by security while I assume he was toasted; Dougie was driving.

Weed laws for the most part are just a suggestion so they should be struck down for the most part with concern to personal possession and use.

Man, Dougie gets under my skin more so than Robbie. I think Rob's cancer will take him by the end of this council term but we'll have to deal with Doug for years to come unfortunately.

Well, at least Toronto went for the other option - voting for a mayor that doesn't require/inspire constant protests outside said office instead of the wannabe proposing such silly rules. It's a far more elegant solution, don't you think?

Never forget that Robbie always had the option of entering and leaving his office through the private back entrance—just like David Blaine did, but with no magic involved. Everytime he barrelled through protesters and press, it was entirely his choice.

This!!
(think about it)

I was just thinking that if Lisi gets convicted of something - anything! - and the cops are letting Rob go gently into the sunset, I would really like to see Doug finally face some consequences for being such a monumental prick all this time. Something where he's unequivocally wrong and shown to be a huge liar.

I thought he has already been shown to be a) unequivocally wrong, b) a huge lair and c) a monumental prick already. As to consequence, well, his extended family seemed to be a fairly suitable punishment, no?

I don't know when you were there last, but the NL banned mushrooms containing psilocybin and psilocin back in 2008 ... partly because of a series of incidents involving tourists having bad trips.

I should have specified: in a court of law, having been arrested by 'the most political police force ever' and demanding that the judge resign. Even something like traffic court would do.

Oh ya I had a terrible trip. It took hours to kick in and when it finally did it was horrible. It didn't help that I was lost in the red light district with all sorts of nutjobs following me.

I've got to hand it to Sandro on this one. He always had the best 'shrooms by far. Actually the last time I ever bought anything off of him I paid for only like two grams and he gave me a huge bag full. It lasted a month! I had so much I was handing my supply out for free to randoms lol. I just remember being at a club in Barrie, my buddy grabbed a handful without measuring it. All the sudden he's tripping balls. He asked where we were every five minutes. Good times...
