OK, I know its at least 5 screaming years of lies, BS and Fordianisms. I guess looking for any truth in anything they say or do "publicly" is an exercise in "Made ya look".
What I'm trying to figure out is Rob's new tack on the Confessional Route to Redemption bullshit. I know their support is drastically down, Rob's "block" in council is more internally fractured. Not that Fords take advice, but they have no professional staff to manage their "campaigns". I know they are trying to 'drub' up sympathy, but how much of this stuff do they think people can stomach? This stuff doesn't play well with the federal or provincial party.
The FoBros have only one goal and that is to stay in politics. Jude's COI is probably the most serious threat to that, at least in the real world. And IF they survive that what does this bode for their futures? or is Dougie, The Smart One, trying to push Robbie off to the sidelines?
And personally, I think Rob's using and probably never stopped. Maybe he's off the booze, the "most evil" drug, but I suspect he's being "maintained" on Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid rather than the real stuff he's built up high tolerances for (and becuz cancer).
