And as always, there's *his own offspring* to consider as a distant-early-warning of the Ford/Ford National cast of lowlifes and toxically troubled folks...

The "royalty" aspect is troubling, however, we can't and shouldn't project Robbie's or Dougie's proclivities. Mikey so far is proving to be his own person even though he took "Ford" to get into politics.

By "his own", I meant *Chuvalo's* own offspring (and wife, for that matter).

Back then, some two decades ago, we took the whole Chuvalo saga in as a family tragedy--but what we know now about the Ford boys, hangers-on, etc adds an unflattering extra layer of genius-loci context and subtext as to how said tragedy happened...

So where do we think the Ford Dynasty will be in 10 or 20 years? As for Mike, good on him, there's exceptions to every rule. He may have ridden in on the Ford name but maybe he can live it down. Etobicoke is definitely not Camelot.

I've never actually met George and for that reason, I'm hesitant to post this reply but I have, through mutual relationships, found myself sort of within his circles. Now by all accounts, he's a very nice guy and I find that easy to believe. However, my impression is that the douchebag factor around this guy is pretty significant and he strikes me as a nice guy who seems to have trouble picking friends & acquaintances.

Sorry, lost for a second.

Interesting read in today's Star on the epidemic of heroin addiction in the US (white) middle classes.

A friend on Facebook had a really good idea. Make a GTA game set in the GTA! You could have the Ford brothers as mobsters.

i noticed buffboy was working robbie's security at fordfest (
) and decided to 'checked in' with him since it's been a while... and he's definitely trying to become something by hanging around 'famous' people and inflating what he's done. some examples of what i mean...

(sorry to break it to you buffy, but anyone could have had dinner with him, as long as they paid the $80 to get in. i.e. dr. devlin was at the stag)

Which, historically speaking, would extend to recognizing his own family's chosen "friends & acquaintances"
