So did I, until today. Maybe they are old-school and shoot out the tires?

BUMP - oops pothole - sorry about the back of your head, Sir. I shall call Rob and have it fixed! ( The pothole, that is. :D )

On a special episode of "Republic of Doyle"... :p

JimmiT- before you drink yourself into a Ford-like state, when's the next Star story coming out?
There was supposed to be a story last week that was delayed, so based on Doug's RV story, I'd say tomorrow or Tuesday. Someone was asking about the lawsuit Doug is facing in the U.S., I saw this on the Twitter by a reporter from CP2Ford:

Ford admits it's true the son of the owner of Wise Tag & Label is suing him, but his tone was dismissive.

Regarding the alleged spike strip, or whatever it was.

I have a dashcam in my car, you would think the Fordmobile would also be equipped with one.

Regardless, the RV is an atrocious monstrosity. It needs more than a spike strip IMHO. What an eyesore.

Looks similar to the one that got Rob elected:

I wonder ( if he feels up to it ) if Rob will do a ride-a-long to a few special appearances?

"Seriously, what kind of entitled asshole chooses an RV as a campaign vehicle in a city this congested?"

I don't know why they don't use Randy's fire engine, they can use the promise of supporting front line workers.

Any day now. Maybe tomorrow. It more sets the stage for a potentially big story later with a preview.

JimmiT, perhaps to have a few more thanksgiving cocktails such that you abandon your inhibitions and spill all here? Sweartogod we won't tell anyone.

This Ebola scare is putting a fright into a lot of "folks".

It reminds me Toronto's SARS scare in 2003. I was put on what was called a "Working Quarantine".

Our mayor at the time was Mel Lastman.

Politics aside, I wonder which mayoral candidate has the strongest crisis management skills?

( Happy belated Birthday to you, Sweet Lou. )

I worked in a chiropractic clinic at the time and even we had a protocol (have you travelled...fever...etc). One of our clients was an EMS worker and she was on working quarantine as well...

Siobhan Morris @siomo
For the first time this campaign, I've received a daily itinerary for a Ford #TOPoli

It took this long.

Don Peat @reporterdonpeat
Doug Ford making a campaign stop at the Daily Bread Food Bank on Monday morning: Doug Ford campaign #TOpoli

I bet he voted against it somehow.

I remember! My sister a nurse manager at a big hospital here - she was required to wear a mask at home - pizza deliverers wouldn't come into her hospital - pizzas were picked up in the driveway - a bizarre time, her two little kids were scared

Although no Paramedics died of SARS, four were determined to be medically unfit to ever return to Active Service.

But, we got through it and celebrated with a big party:

When I watch all the pandering by our mayoral candidates during this election, it doesn't impress me.

I just look for the one I think could best handle our next disaster.

Remember the mayor in Jaws?:

Looks like the story Jimmi was talking about is on the front page of tomorrow's Star:
