Really exciting stuff! ^^^

Shangri-la/Burano at/near/reaching ground level! Exciting stuff to keep us busy when the Ritz and MLS are complete! :)
Lumiere needs some serious cladding but other than that it has had some very good progress! (the bare concrete looks nasty!)

Parking ramp structure was assembled today:

Very cool outline of the parking garage! ^^^ the parking ramp strangely look awesome for some odd reason!

hey! That parking ramp looks really awesome! The progress on this one is pretty nice... The podium levels should take a while though... I'd say we'll see more of the ground floor come along by the end of the month...

Great photos, caltrane! This is going much more smoothly than Murano.

Cal: is your avatar the puppet of Jack Donaghy from that 30 Rock spoof on Sesame Street?

This thing is practically a lesser version of Shangri-la! Nice updates guys! The impact burano has on the Bay Street streetwall/canyon is really emphasized in those shots! I can't believe what a huge gap there is to be filled (which burano should do a fine job!

Burano and Murano right next to eachother, true density!

I think these towers are contenders for the "tallest buildings directly across the street" from each other next to Trump and Bay Adelaide, and others...

If 880 Bay is built (as seems likely), then we will have a 192m building (880 Bay) across the street from a 163m building (Burano).

edit -- corrected height for Burano

Oh yeah! I forgot about 880 Bay! Me personally, i don't really like the design they have going for 880 Bay (but that could always change)...
the Bay/College area is really booming! is there an official name for the area?... I mean, imo, we have 3 major "hubs" of skyscrapers in downtown:

1)the CBD
2)Yorkville
3)and Bay/College (any other official name for the area?)

Copying (and updating) a list I made on the 880 Bay thread about the emerging Bay/College cluster:

1 : Aura -- 827 feet 252m 75 storeys (might go to 1007 feet 307m 90 storeys)
2 : 880 Bay -- 630 feet 192m 44 storeys
3 : Burano -- 535 feet 163m 48 storeys
4 : RoCP North -- 507 feet 155m 51 storeys
5 : Murano South -- 462 feet 141m 45 storeys
6 : RoCP South -- 458 feet 140m 46 storeys
7 : The Met -- 415 feet 126m 43 storeys
8 : Maclean-Hunter Building -- 397 feet 121m 30 storeys
9 : Lumiere -- 366 feet 111m 32 storeys
10 : Murano North -- 364 feet 111m 35 storeys
11 : Mowat Block -- 348 feet 106m 24 storeys

Plus maybe another half dozen towers of at least 100m in height that could be included, depending upon where the boundaries of the cluster are drawn (1001 Bay, etc.) but none as tall as the proposed 880 Bay.

Looks like we were hitting this site good this weekend.

The grade floor will be 100% pour by the end of the month.
Some large photo views.
