I am really liking the look of this project! What's not to like? Embarrassingly, I have to admit that I had to look up "esports". I didn't know this was a thing.
Please no residential @ Exhibition/Ontario Place, lets always keep it open for any future event spaces..
If we want a venues district, this is a perfect fit and should be fun. But there’s no reason why exhibition place needs to remain a venues district. But it would take the political will to build residences and apartments.. which is just not there.
Not much more land to develop if the CNE continues. Please no residential @ Exhibition/Ontario Place, lets always keep it open for any future event spaces.
The sky is the limit of what can be built down there in the future...

I think we need to change the parking lots into something more desirable if it is going to continue for many years to come. I rarely see people parking there is so some paving stones and plantings would be great
E-sports is just a more modern term for what are essentially professional video game competitions.I am really liking the look of this project! What's not to like? Embarrassingly, I have to admit that I had to look up "esports". I didn't know this was a thing.

E-sports are hugely popular in East Asia, especially South Korea.
It can be Toronto's version of Madison Square Garden. I believe it's known as a waste paper basket there.Don't get me wrong, i like it, it's very cool for Toronto. But I can't be the only one who see's a giant toilet.....
If E-Sports goes completely defunct, at least this will be a much needed mid sized venue for many other events.well they surge and fade depending on the games, too.
Seems like quite a flexible venue, and would likely be used for non esports events throughout the year anyway. If E-Sports goes completely defunct, at least this will be a much needed mid sized venue for many other events.
With our collective obsession with all things electronic waning, yes, you've identified the problem. Personally, I cannot wait for the soft clay tablet version of Urban Toronto coming out in June.If E-Sports goes completely defunct, at least this will be a much needed mid sized venue for many other events.
Not just that, but e-sports would not last as long under the current model. If E-Sports goes completely defunct, at least this will be a much needed mid sized venue for many other events.
